55 Percent of Cempaka Putih Population Have Been Vaccinated

As of this Monday (7/19), 51,370 residents or around 55 percent of total 99,137 residents of Cempaka Putih Sub-district, Central Jakarta, have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

9 vaccination sites are always full of people who want to be vaccinated

Cempaka Putih Sub-district Head, Andri Ferdian conveyed, his side collaborated with all stakeholders to hold mass vaccination for local residents in order to achieve herd immunity.

"Currently, 9 of 12 vaccination service centers are serving residents," he said.

According to him, number of residents who come to vaccination service center is increasing every day.

"9 vaccination sites are always full of people who want to be vaccinated," he stated.

Moreover, his side also collaborated with Central Jakarta Metro Police to hold mobile vaccination at RW 02 Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village with quota 200 people a day.

He mentioned that Jakarta Government has also collaborated with Metro Jaya Police to hold mass vaccination in Cempaka Putih Barat Urban Village, which is categorized as densely populated area.

"We are optimistic that vaccination target of around 99,000 residents in Cempaka Putih can be achieved by mid-August," he asserted.
